Houstrup is a peaceful cottage area with forest and beach and ideal for a relaxing vacation. A good walk will bring you to the wide sandy beach with high dunes. The roar of the North Sea is always nice to experience. Not far away is the forest Blåbjerg Plantation, named after its, in it, 64 m high elevation (Det blå Bjerg), which is the highest inland dune Denmark. In the plantation you can find heath, oak, dunes and deer.
