The nicely furnished cottage provides the perfect setting for a great, active family vacation, as there are good hiking opportunities around the cottage. Inside, the striking red color provides a charming and warm play of colors in a cozy atmosphere where you will undoubtedly feel at home. Plan your day's program in the morning at the long dining table, and after an energy-sapping hiking tour, pamper your tired muscles on the two cozy sofas, which are also perfect for reading bedtime stories with mom. End the day with a hot chocolate. You can admire the sunset from the open terrace. Start your next hiking tour early in the morning.

Take beautiful forest and mountain walks both in summer and winter by hiking further up. Go to the river Gudbrandsdalslågen and try your luck at fishing or experience nature by kayak or canoe.

Note: There is no running water in the house. In summer you get from the tap on the wall of the house, there are also electric water heaters that are filled manually. Drinking water is collected in the valley. In winter you use the snowmelt and rainwater in the cistern.
