There are plenty of resting places where you can relax with your packed lunch, coffee from a thermos and the beautiful view of the lake. Just a 30-minute drive away is the city of Lillehammer with cultural experiences, shopping and restaurants. The entertaining family parks Lilleputthammer and Hunderfossen are also not far away.
