The nice property 'Ferie Fjord' is located in a beautiful area by the Limfjord in North Jutland. 'Ferie Fjord' is a well-maintained 4-canthof, with 4 separate apartments in different sizes, for 6 to 12 persons. All apartments are stylishly and comfortably furnished, with their own TV (Danish, German and Scandinavian channels only) and access to the terrace. There are also several shared terraces with a beautiful view of the meadow, forest and fjord. The facilities outside are comparable to park-like gardens. Here you will find campfire areas, playgrounds and many tranquil oases to linger. Inside, there is a tropical bathing area, large common room, badminton, table tennis, billiards, air field hockey, fitness equipment, volleyball, internet, Playstation 3 and a cinema/lecture hall. In 2007 the property was expanded with a 250 m2 sports hall and painted fields for various ball games, and in addition a fitness room with conditioning equipment was added.
Ferie Fjord is, so to speak, the perfect vacation home throughout the year, as there is always plenty to do both outside and inside. A visit to Limfjord must include a boat trip around the fjord aboard an old wooden ship, or a small ferry to the islands of Venø, Fur and Livø. You should also see the remarkable medieval monastery of Vitskøl from 1157, it is known for its large herb garden and church ruins. The Limfjord has many incentives for a family vacation, such as hiking, horseback riding, cycling on the many trails, fishing in the fjord, fishing lakes and rivers. For those interested in golf, there are three 18-hole golf courses. The beaches are often shallow and child-friendly and the area is well suited for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and every water sport imaginable.
